4. DRISHYAM

After 4 remakes in 4 different languages it was a big task and responsibility to remake it in Hindi, Director Nishikant Kamath gave justice to this thriller which was based on the story by Jeethu Joseph.

Ajay Devgan was an apt choice for the role as he portrayed the character with an ease which was already done by superstars Mohanlal and Kamal Haasan. Tabu as a police officer and a mother did a splendid job as usual while Kamlesh Sawant as a corrupt Sub-Inspector stole the show.

5. BABY

It seems Akshay Kumar has decided to do atleast one film a year which is different from his regular potboilers and when he does it with Neeraj Pandey it assures you of some sensible and good entertainment. After giving a hit movie Special 26 this duo gave us yet another sensible entertainer Baby which is an Indian spy action thriller.

Akshay Kumar is a treat to watch in this film while Tapsee Pannu needs a special mention here for her performance especially for her action sequences.

6. MANJHI – THE MOUNTAIN MAN

This is a film based on a true story which in itself is not any less than a miracle. Nawazuddin Siddique never leaves a chance to amaze us with his performances. This is a first film where he played a main lead and he played it so well. This man is never short of surprises. Radhika Apte as usual played his wife with ease and innocence. In the end all we can say about this movie is Shandar, zabardast, zindabad!

It is a big film to be mentioned in this list but it sure deserves a place here as a salute to Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for such a beautiful piece of art. While other directors may envy SLB ,he has excelled as a Director, Music Director and above all as a dreamer.
