Is NDTV the most hated Channel in India?

There’s always been a fight for TRPs in the Television world, everyone trying to outdo each other.  To call any of the news channels unbiased would be “anti-national” Lately NDTV has been receiving a lot of flack on Social Media, Trends such as #ShutDownNDTV, #FakeItLikeNDTV and “Nira Radia” has been trending nationally.

These are few of the reasons why a major part of these trends occurred,

  1. #FakeItLikeNDTV

This basically started when OpIndia posted a video of one of the debates and breaks down beautifully the hypocrisy of the journalist.

You don’t have to shout to be heard (NDTV Tagline) was it a subtle dig at Arnab or at their own anchor?

2 . This is called lazy reporting, not talking to one in question but giving your opinion whatsoever. (Maybe)

Barkha Dutt as you all know is from NDTV, self-righteous, what’s truth and what’s not it’s difficult to understand, but in the age of social media you should be more responsible about your tweets, because twitter never forgets.

3. Demanding an Apology, when forgetting to Apologize yourself for Tax Fraud, Tax Evasion Scam or Radia tapes.

The alleged Kanya Kumar tapes however has been under media trial, and no official statement has been made on it by any government officials yet.

At the mention of Nira Radia being blocked by none other than the man himself Vir Sanghvi

They are no where to be seen in the TRP ratings for English News Channels across India. Also their subtle digs at other news channels mainly TimesNow and Arnab has back fired at them.

For example trying to make an appeal to boycott Arnab and Newshour, since they were not a part of the protest march by the journalist against lawyers for the horror at Patiala Court backfired when people on Twitter started showing support instead, and made #IndiaWithArnab Trend at the top position for a very long time.

Ravish Kumar openly criticizing channels that were not part of their protest?! Dude it’s their wish, “Freedom of Expression” “FOE” you may call it.

The JNU debate has yet divided the Indian media and there’s more huge corporate wars that we see in near future, but people are giving their verdict on Social Media and this has to be taken seriously whether you consider them “Trollers” “Extreme Nationalists” or “Anti-Nationals”.
